happy valentines day!
it wasn't bad. i worked, and had free lunch, had dinner with two good friends, and went to a movie. Micole, Will and I decided to go see definitely, maybe which was a good movie. go see it. it was a good new york movie. however, they so romanticize this here city in the movies. as an almost 3 year new yorker, i would love to see a movie where a couple is walking down the sidewalk holding hands and talking about how much they love each other, and then they have to step over all 18 trash bags and dodge a homeless man just to continue their romantic walk. or maybe even see a pile of something in the road and, just for a split second, wonder what kind of large animal that could come from, whilst trying not to step in it or get hit by the nanny pushing the stroller built for two... i digress... it was a good movie. we ate chocolate covered strawberries in the movie and they were great.
as we were leaving the theater, micole says "there's alec baldwin" but i am not fooled by her games because last week we were in the miami airport and she tried to convince me that eli manning, bono, gavin rossdale and akon all walked by (but not together, or at the same time) but alas - she was right, there was alec baldwin in a very crowded movie theater on the upper west side on valentines day with a lady.
then as to think that wasn't exciting enough, we walked outside only to lose will, who showed up a minute later and told us that he had seen his ex-roommates crazy gay stalker boyfriend and decided to hide behind a bus stop. the excitement never ends!
we then proceeded to take the subway to the bus and as we ran to the bus (cause it's really cold and we didn't want to have to wait) micole overheard two cops talking about how we had definitely stolen something because we were running so fast. that made me laugh real hard.
thanks for the great valentines day, alec baldwin! hope you enjoyed your movie.
