3 of my roomies and i went to chrisitan siriano's birthday party last week, and it was super fun to dance and laugh at all the people there taking themselves way too seroiusly...

i'm addicted to watching these freaking cute puppies. they are so entertaining. i totally didn't believe that it was a live feed the first time i saw it, but in fact it is. I did some research. So now that i've introduced you to them, enjoy. treat them as your own pets, kinda like the giga pets back in the day except you have to do nothing but watch and laugh and smile! and someone else picks up their poop :)

voting and a vampire in new york city

i voted today! and there wasn't a line where i was (because it was 10:00 am) but there have been lines all over the city all day! People have waited for hours to vote, which i think is fantastic. whatever the outcome, i'm glad that people care. here are my feet voting!



and on a completely different note...
let me introduce you to rob pattinson -


he's playing edward cullen in the twilight movie coming out in 2 weeks. it's based on the twilight series books by stephenie meyer. it's about a girl named bella, and this guy, edward, who is a vampire, but the best kind! (it sounds strange, but it's really not)

i would like to start by saying that i don't read very often, but i was talked into reading these books by some wonderful roomates! I decided to read it on the bus to baltimore one weekend. For some reference, I tried to read harry potter back in the day, but i only made it through 2 and lost interest...

Honestly, the twilight books are the best books i've ever read. It's made me give up TV and just read for hours.

So when i was told i could see this rob pattinson in person i said... OK. and now you see why. he is seriously a hottie.

elizabeth tells the story well, here but i will just say there were some crazy screaming girls in soho.

but this edward cullen guy he's playing has made my heart happy like i've heard people before talk about mr. darcy (ahem, tracy) making theirs happy. i'm thankful.

so here's to my edward cullen, wherever you are :)
